Orchestration Designer

The Orchestration Designer enables you to design and implement executable business processes by applying graphical shapes to represent various actions.

 

Use this To do this

Orchestration Surface

Add shapes to represent the actions and communications of your orchestration.

Port Surface

Add ports and role links to configure the connections between this orchestration and outside orchestrations or processes.

Toolbox

Select shapes to represent the functionality in your orchestration.

Orchestration Tab

Add shapes to represent the actions of your orchestration.

Compensation Tab

Add shapes to the compensation block for the orchestration.

Orchestration View

Add, delete, and examine orchestration parameters, ports and port types, messages and multipart message types, correlation sets and correlation types, role links and role link types, scopes, and orchestration properties.

Properties Window

Set and examine properties of the various elements of your orchestration.

Output Window

View the results of building your orchestration.

Task List

View errors and warnings that result from building your orchestration, and click them to edit the affected shapes and properties.
