A measurement element automatically posts transactions to a measurement. Each active element must be included in the measurement's formula.

If you manually post transactions using measurement journals, you do not need to create elements.

Click Balanced scorecard > Scorecard > Objectives > .

Select the relevant measurement and then click Elements.

Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

In the Measurement element field, enter a unique identifier for the element.

To open the Element Wizard where you set up the element's query, click Product Model Wizard.

By using the wizard, you can choose to use a predefined query, or you can select a table. The wizard also helps you set up the measurement and calculation expressions of the element.
