Cockpits are a way to display business or performance information relevant to a particular employee or group of employees. Each cockpit is a collection of scorecards and objectives with combined subject matter that illustrates performance toward one or more key business aspects. For example, for an executive, you might set up a cockpit to display:

The current customer satisfaction level

Recent quality control survey results.

Grant user rights
Cockpits are also a way to grant access to scorecard performance values on the Enterprise Portal. Rights are granted to cockpits according to your selections in the Person in charge, Type and Group lists.
