InkPicture.OnMouseDown Method

InkPicture.OnMouseDown Method

Allows derived classes to modify the default behavior of the MouseDown Leave Site event.

Definition

Visual Basic .NET Overrides Protected Sub OnMouseDown( _
ByVal e As MouseEventArgs _
)
C# protected override void OnMouseDown(
MouseEventArgs e
);
Managed C++ protected: void OnMouseDown(
MouseEventArgs *e
);

Parameters

e System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs. The MouseEventArgs Leave Site object that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate.

The OnMouseDown method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

When overriding this method in a derived class, call the OnMouseDown method of the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
