Using the course management functionality involves working with several features:

Course groups - Categorize course types.
Course types - Describe each kind of course that you want to conduct, and assign attributes (such as the target participant group) and what skills or certificates are accredited when a participant finishes a course of this type.
Course locations and classrooms - Record specific information about each venue.
Participants - Manage information about the people who attend each course.
Instructors - Record information about the people who teach or conduct each course.
Courses - Represent each instance of a course, and contain details about specific participants, the minimum and maximum number of participants, where the course is held, and a course description.
