You can create a configuration by importing data from a .pmq file. A .pmq file is generated by Target Analyzer and lists the supporting files for device hardware.

To create a configuration by importing a .pmq file

1. In Target Designer, from the File menu, choose Import.
2. In the Choose File for Import dialog box, choose the file you want to import, and then choose Open.
3. In the Import File dialog box, type the log file, and then choose Start.
4. After the file has been successfully imported, choose Close.

   A component definition that includes the components from the .pmq file appears in the configuration editor.
