Setting up the AMD DBAu1000 Development Board Hardware (Windows CE 5.0)
Before you can download the Windows CE boot loader to your standard development board (SDB), you must set up and connect the AMD DBAu1000 Development Board to a development workstation.
To set up the AMD DBAu1000 Development Board hardware
Connect a serial cable to the debug serial port connector.
The DBAu1000 uses a regular serial cable to connect to an external device, such as a modem, and does not use a null modem cable like other SDBs.
Connect an Ethernet cable to the network connector on the DBAu1000 and to the development workstation or Ethernet hub.
On the motherboard, insert the video card into the PCI slot.
Connect the power supply to the board.
