No Index of WMI Classes - Sorely Needed      fdunn   |   Edit   |   Show History

"Back in the good ol' days" Before Microsoft changed the format (AND MADE FINDING WMI CLASSES IMPOSSIBLE) the WMI Classes were neatly organized in an "Explorer" style where it was CIMV2 and then you could expand that and ALL Win32 Classes were listed in alphabetical order.

If a class had methods then it to had the Explorer style + sign next to where you could expand that class to see the methods and how they were used.

When you went to a certain class, at the top were all of the enumerable properties with the name and data type (ie uint16, string, array, etc) and they were hyperlinks to the data pertaining to it in the body of the class page.

Just as I was about to type you could actually look through all the classes to find what was most pertinent somebody just created a frame on the left side of the window...Thank you very much.

I know this will take a bit more work but now if somebody could restore the properties to hyperlinks to the property data in the body of the page that would be the icing on the cake.

Thank you for restoring the "Explorer" style menu Frame.

Please restore the class hierarchy      SharpDev   |   Edit   |   Show History
Have to agree with the above post - please restore the browsable list of classes to this page as it's become very difficult to find the exact class required in any given subset of the class hierarchy.

Add in details of static vs dynamic/instance methods      Thomas Lee   |   Edit   |   Show History

In the documentation here, can MSFT please tag and document methods according to whether they are static or dynamic? It would improve the usefulness of method definitions.
