SetIPXVirtualNetworkNumber Method of the Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration Class

Starting with Windows Vista, the Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX) technology is no longer supported and this method is obsolete.

Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, and Windows 2000:  The SetIPXVirtualNetworkNumber WMI class static method is used to set the Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX) virtual network number on the target computer system. The internal network number is also known as a virtual network number. It uniquely identifies the computer system on the network.

This topic uses Managed Object Format (MOF) syntax. For more information about using this method, see Calling a Method.
