Remote Desktop Services permissions

You can use the permissions provided for Remote Desktop Services to control how users and groups access the server.

The Remote Desktop Services WMI Provider supplies WMI access to information that administrators can configure by using the Remote Desktop Services Configuration/Connections Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in.

The ADSI Extension for Remote Desktop Services User Configuration extends an ADSI object that allows domain administrators to write scripts that will automate maintenance of Remote Desktop Services–specific user properties.

For a list of the permissions that you can set and the tasks the permissions allow, Remote Desktop Services Permissions.

For more information, see the Remote Desktop Services WMI Provider Reference and Using the ADSI Extension for Remote Desktop Services User Configuration.
