IX509AttributeClientId::UserSamName property

The UserSamName property retrieves the Security Accounts Manager (SAM) name of the user.

This property is read-only.

Syntax


HRESULT get_UserSamName(
  [out]  BSTR *pValue
);

Property value

Pointer to a BSTR variable that contains the SAM name in the form DomainName\UserName.

Error codes

If the function succeeds, the function returns S_OK.

If the function fails, it returns an HRESULT value that indicates the error. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table. For a list of common error codes, see Common HRESULT Values.

CERTSRV_E_PROPERTY_EMPTY

The attribute value could not be found.

OLE_E_BLANK

The attribute has not been initialized.

Remarks
