System.Diagnostics.Eventing is only for logging!

Like the most parts of the windows architecture, which go near to the system, Net keeps completely out.
You cannot start and/or configure an eventtrace. No interop library is provided to much such simple
things working in net out of the box.

ETW is directly integrated into .NET these days, see System.Diagnostics.Eventing namespace.
