Connected Services Framework

Each Connected Services Framework component implements performance counters to enable monitoring and tuning.

Identity Manager Component

Performance Counter

Description

# of map manager input queued requests

Number of requests in the map manager input queue waiting to be processed

# map manager request process time

Total time spent processing a map manager request in Identity Manager

# of map manager requests in process

Number of map manager requests currently in process

# of query map manager input queued requests

Number of requests in the query map manager input queue waiting to be processed

# query map manager request process time

Total time spent processing a query map manager request in Identity Manager

Profile Manager Component

Performance object: "CSF: Profile Manager"

Performance Counter

Description

# of input queued requests

Number of requests made to the Profile Manager that are in the queue awaiting processing. This is the number in the queue for all the subcomponents that make up the Profile Manager component: VAS Profile Manager, Role Manager, User Role Manager, and User Service Manager.

# of profile manager failures

Number of requests made to the VAS Profile Manager subcomponent that have failed.

# of profile manager requests

Total number of requests made to the VAS Profile Manager subcomponent.

# of profile manager successes

Total number of requests made to the VAS Profile Manager subcomponent that have succeeded.

# of request in process

Total number of requests of all kinds in process in the Profile Manager component.

# of role manager failures

Number of requests to the Role Manager subcomponent that have failed.

# of role manager requests received

Total number of requests to the Role Manager subcomponent.

# of role manager requests succeeded

Number of requests to the Role Manager subcomponent that have succeeded.

# of user role manager failures

Number of requests to the User Role Manager subcomponent that have failed.

# of user role manager requests

Total number of requests to the Role Manager subcomponent.

Used to monitor the status of the Profile Manager when it is run as a Microsoft Windows® service. It is ignored when hosted under IIS.

Total time to process any request made to the Profile Manager.

 

Service Catalog Component

Performance Counter

Description

# of failed requests

Number of request made to the Service Catalog that have failed.

# of input queued requests

Number of requests to the Service Catalog that are currently queued and awaiting processing.

# of requests 

Total number of requests made to the Service Catalog.

# of requests in process

Number of requests that are currently being actively processed.

# of successful requests

Number of requests to the Service Catalog that have succeeded.

# Request process time

Number of milliseconds taken to process the request. It will be updated after each request is processed.

Number of times sessions that were reconstructed after being removed from memory due to memory crunch.

# of requests queued in memory

Number of requests that are queued waiting to be processed.

# of messages queued in dispatcher Number of messages in the queue waiting to be routed.
# percent fault Number of times session was reconstructed to serve an incoming request per every 100 requests
