Refreshing Items in Solution Explorer

The view in Solution Explorer should accurately reflect the state of the items and projects. For example, if your project is under source control, you might want to determine whether or not it is still checked out by another member of your development team.

**Note   **Refresh is not applicable to Link-based projects because they contain items that might or might not be there.

To refresh the state of an item

  1. In Solution Explorer, select the item.
  2. Choose the Refresh button.
