Visual Basic Reference
Returns or sets the file filter (extension) to use when exporting a report.
The FileFilter property syntax has these parts:
|object||Required. An object expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list.|
|string||Optional. The extension to use for creating a file in the ".xxx" format.|
The FileFilter property determines what filter will be displayed in the Export dialog box.
The property can be assigned multiple filters by separating each filter with a semicolon (but no spaces), as shown below:
DataReport1.ExportFormats(5).FileFilter = "*.htm;*.html"
Note, however, that the FileFilter should match the FormatType type assigned to the ExportFormat object. For example, setting FileFilter to "*.htm" and FormatType to rptFmtText is an invalid pair of settings. Also note that no error will be raised for this state.
