Installing Notification Services
Microsoft® SQL Server™ Notification Services can be installed on one server or many servers. Depending on your system configuration, you must install Notification Services on one or more of the following servers:
- Any server that hosts a Notification Services instance.
- The server that hosts the databases used by the instance.
- Any server that hosts an independent event provider.
- Any server that hosts a subscription management application.
