PowerPoint

Microsoft PowerPoint has transformed the way people communicate ideas with its presentation graphics program. With enhanced multimedia support that lets you play streaming audio and video within a slide show, an updated PowerPoint viewer, and new smart tag support, PowerPoint 2003 is more powerful than ever, and even easier to customize and automate.

For example, developers can extend the capabilities of PowerPoint by creating COM add-ins that add custom commands and specialized features. Macros automate tasks you perform repeatedly, and adding ActiveX controls such as scroll bars, command buttons, option buttons, toggle buttons, and other controls make it easy to automate and customize your presentations. You can even use ActiveX controls to enable users to enter data if you publish a presentation as a Web page.
