The ExtendedStateInfo property specifies the text description of the current link status. The ExtendedStateInfo property is read-only.

Applies To

The ExtendedStateInfo property is a member of the ExchangeLink Class.

Instance Path

The ExtendedStateInfo property appears on instances of the \\COMPUTERNAME\ROOT\cimv2\applications\exchange:ExchangeLink class.

Qualifiers

This property has no qualifiers.

Remarks

Not all queueing systems can provide detailed status descriptions for link problems. This property typically contains information when the link is retrying message transmission.

The following example shows how to retrieve a list of ExchangeLink instances, and how to retrieve the ExtendedStateInfo property for each instance.
