How to: Access the MSDN Forums and Other Community Resources
You can participate in the online developer community in several ways, from Visual Studio. For example, you can post a question to a forum or access websites that have developer information.

You can browse the forums on the MSDN Forums website. You can also search for specific information in the forums, from Visual Studio.
To post a question to the community from Visual Studio

On the Help menu, click MSDN Forums.

In Enter Keywords, type the subject of your search and then click Go.
Any forum threads that match your search are displayed.

Click a result to view it, or search again.
You can view code from other developers and share your own examples on the Code Gallery website.
To access Code Gallery

In your web browser, go to the Code Gallery website.

You must have a Passport account to upload samples.
