2.1.1.2 Boxcar Size Limitations

A Boxcar MUST contain at least one message and MUST NOT contain more than 3,412 messages. Furthermore, the total size of a Boxcar MUST be at least 40 bytes and MUST NOT exceed 81,920 bytes. Unless otherwise specified, an MSDTC Connection Manager: OleTx Multiplexing Protocol (CMP) implementation SHOULD add one or more messages to a Boxcar as long as doing so does not cause the Boxcar to exceed any of these size restrictions.
