.NET Framework Class Library
Button.OnFontChanged Method
Raises the FontChanged event.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
Syntax
Visual Basic
Protected Overrides Sub OnFontChanged ( _ e As EventArgs _ )
C#
protected override void OnFontChanged( EventArgs e )
Visual C++
protected: virtual void OnFontChanged( EventArgs^ e ) override
F#
abstract OnFontChanged : e:EventArgs -> unit override OnFontChanged : e:EventArgs -> unit
Parameters
- e
- Type: System.EventArgs
An EventArgs that contains the event data.
Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnFontChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnFontChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnFontChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
