WebRequestEvent Constructor (String, Object, Int32)

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Initializes the WebRequestEvent class with specified event parameters.

Namespace:  System.Web.Management
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
protected internal WebRequestEvent(
	string message,
	Object eventSource,
	int eventCode

Type: System.String

The message associated with the event.

Type: System.Object

The object that is the source of the event.

The constructor WebRequestEvent allows specifying the event message, the source of the event, and the code or identifier associated with the event.

The following code example shows how to customize this constructor.

The value you use to define your event code or identifier must be greater than WebExtendedBase.

// Invoked in case of events identified only
// by their event code.
public SampleWebRequestEvent(
    string msg,
    object eventSource, int eventCode):
    base(msg, eventSource, eventCode)

    // Perform custom initialization.
    customCreatedMsg =
      "Event created at: {0}",
