Parameters

input: Type: System.IO.Stream
The supplied stream.

encoding: Type: System.Text.Encoding
The character encoding.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentException	The stream does not support reading, the stream is null, or the stream is already closed.
ArgumentNullException	encoding is null.
