OracleCommand Constructor (String, OracleConnection)

Initializes a new instance of the OracleCommand class with the text of the query and an OracleConnection object.

Namespace:  System.Data.OracleClient
Assembly:  System.Data.OracleClient (in System.Data.OracleClient.dll)
public OracleCommand(
	string commandText,
	OracleConnection connection
)

Parameters

commandText
Type: System.String

The text of the query.

connection
Type: System.Data.OracleClient.OracleConnection

An OracleConnection object that represents the connection to a database.

The following example creates an OracleCommand.

public void CreateOracleCommand() 
{
   OracleConnection connection = new OracleConnection("Data Source=Oracle8i;Integrated Security=yes");
   string queryString = "SELECT * FROM Emp ORDER BY EmpNo";
   OracleCommand command = new OracleCommand(queryString, connection);
}

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
