XmlElement.RemoveAttributeNode Method (String, String)

Removes the XmlAttribute specified by the local name and namespace URI. (If the removed attribute has a default value, it is immediately replaced).

Parameters

localName

The local name of the attribute.

namespaceURI

The namespace URI of the attribute.

Return Value

The removed XmlAttribute or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if the XmlElement does not have a matching attribute node.

This node is read-only.
