Verifies the signature from the specified hash value.

Parameters

hash
Type: System.Security.Cryptography.HashAlgorithm

The hash algorithm to use to verify the signature.

rgbSignature
Type: System.Byte[]

The signature to be verified.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the signature is valid for the hash; otherwise, false.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

The hash parameter is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

This method sets the hash algorithm to be used before verifying the signature of the input hash algorithm value.
