HttpContext.RewritePath Method (String, Boolean)

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Assigns an internal rewrite path.

Parameters

path

The internal rewrite path.

rebaseClientPath

true to reset the virtual path; false to keep the virtual path unchanged.

Exception typeCondition

ArgumentNullException

path is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

HttpException

path is not within the current application's root directory.

The RewritePath method is called by the RewritePath method with the rebaseClientPath parameter set to true.
