RegKey Property

Specifies a registry key to search for on the target computer. If an exact match is not found for the registry key specified in the RegKey property, the registry search will return null.

The RegKey property takes a string that includes the full path to the registry key. For example, if you want to search for the Start Page key for Internet Explorer, the RegKey property should be set to Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Start Page.

The RegKey property value must exactly match the name and path in the registry, including any spaces, or the registry search will fail to find the key. For more information, see How to: Add a Registry Search in the Launch Conditions Editor.
