CeTrackProperty (EDB) (Compact 7)

This function marks an individual property for inclusion or exclusion in the tracking scheme.
Syntax

PCEGUID pVolGuid,
CEOID oidDB,
CEPROPID propid,
BOOL fTrack
);
Parameters
- pVolGuid
[in] Pointer to the CEGUID structure that contains the GUID of a mounted database volume or of the shared volume. This parameter cannot be set to NULL.
- oid
[in] Object identifier (OID) of the database to be tracked for the synchronization partner specified in the parameter pSyncPartnerGuid. This parameter cannot be set to NULL.
- propid
[in] Property ID to include or exclude for tracking. This parameter cannot be set to NULL.
- fTrack
[in] If set to TRUE, the property is tracked. If set to FALSE, changes to the property are not tracked.
Return Value
TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure. To get extended error information, call GetLastError. The following table shows possible values.

The database is too big. |
ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND |
The tracking tables could not be found. |
ERROR_INTERNAL_DB_CORRUPTION |
The database is corrupted. |

The name of the property could not be retrieved from the database. |
ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER |
One or more parameters are invalid. |
ERROR_NOT_FOUND |
The database specified by oid or the property specified by propid could not be found. |
ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED |
Too many sessions are open. |
Remarks
Use the CREATE_SYSTEMGUID macro to obtain the CEGUID of the shared system volume.
Invoking the tracking functions on a CEDB volume causes an error, and GetLastError returns ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER.
