List of Localized MS Operating Systems

The following tables list the many localized versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems. Details below include:

  • The localization languages.
  • The system default LCID when you clean install the operating system (in both hexadecimal and decimal).
  • The default system code page when you clean install the operating system. (Remember that Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP are Unicode-based; thus, the code page column represents the code page used when converting Unicode to another character encoding to be used by a non-Unicode application.)
