Windows 7 Taskbar: Incorporating Your Beta Feedback into RC

About this Video

Windows 7 offers a new way of controlling your desktop, managing your windows, and launching applications. The Windows 7 Taskbar is a new application-launching and window-switching mechanism that consolidates the functionalities from previous Windows OS Desktop mechanisms such as Quick Launch, Recent Documents, Notification area icons, desktop shortcuts, and running application windows.<br/> We first introduced Windows 7 Taskbar during PDC 2008 and it was available for users to try in the Windows 7 Beta release. Join Ben Betz and Robert Jarrett in this video as they cover a few changes that were made to Taskbar functionality in order to incorporate audience feedback.
