Designer Academic Alliance Memberships - New Offering!

Designer Academic Alliance was designed to provide the easiest and most inexpensive way for universities to make the latest Microsoft design tools available to Art and Design Students on lab, desktop, and personal machines.

Designer Academic Alliance is an annual membership program for departments that use technology in support of Visualization, Illustration, Design, and Art (VIDA) courses. The membership provides a complete, inexpensive solution to keep academic labs, faculty, and students on the leading edge of technology.

A Designer AA Membership enables VIDA departments to outfit their machines with the latest Microsoft design tools, operating systems, server software, documentation, and technical references. In addition, students in the department will have complete access to these tools and references for use on their personal computers.

A Designer AA Membership offers VIDA departments numerous benefits including:

• Access to the latest set of Microsoft platforms, servers, and Designer tools.
• License to install the software on any number of lab machines used by the department for instructional and research purposes.
• License to provide the software to students taking courses that lead to credit or a certificate within the member department.
• Four technical support incidents (varies by region) in addition to access to the managed newsgroups and the Online Concierge.

MSDN AA/Designer AA Download - 1 Year

• Designer AA Download One Year Membership includes electronic delivery of all Designer AA titles to the Program Administrator for one (1) year.
• Program Administrators will receive all Designer AA products and License Keys electronically via the MSDN subscriber download site.
• Recommended distribution mechanisms to students and faculty include the creation of an automated burn station (software provided) or a customized download site (software provided).
• Administrators will provide verification for authorized students and faculty via the submission of names or User IDs into their chosen automated distribution mechanism.

MSDN AA/Designer AA Download - 3 Year

• Designer AA Download Three Year Membership includes electronic delivery of all Designer AA titles to the Program Administrator for three (3) years.
• Program Administrators will receive all Designer AA products and License Keys electronically via the MSDN subscriber download site.
• Recommended distribution mechanisms to students and faculty include the creation of an automated burn station (software provided) or a customized download site (software provided).
