ELMS: The e-academy License Management System

The MSDN Academic Alliance has partnered with e-academy Inc. to offer a software distribution, tracking and authentication system to MSDNAA Program Administrators. ELMS (e-academy License Management System) for MSDNAA was designed specifically to address the challenges posed to Program Administrators in the distribution of software licensed under the MSDNAA Program.
Membership in the MSDNAA entitles you to use ELMS for the distribution and management of MSDNAA software and faculty at no additional cost.
What is ELMS?
ELMS is a Web-based software distribution and management application hosted by e-academy. As a turnkey system, ELMS enables you to authenticate eligible students and faculty online and automate the ordering and distribution of MSDN AA software to students and faculty.
ELMS is available to all Program Administrators worldwide, and is currently available in five languages: English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese. ELMS is available to your end-users in the following eight languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, Turkish and Russian. When you request your ELMS, please be sure to indicate your language preference.
How to obtain an ELMS System
To receive your private URL to your ELMS, please click here and complete the Request Form.
Once we verify your membership, you will receive an e-mail with the URL to your ELMS and your administrative login information. This usually takes about five business days.
ELMS Setup Guides and Training Resources
There are several training options available to you:
| ELMS Documentation: | Detailed setup instructions and an introduction to ELMS is available here (and in the main Administration section of ELMS). You can also visit www.e-academy.com for further information. |
| ELMS for MSDNAA Trainers: | One-on-one training sessions are available from ELMS for MSDNAA trainers Monday to Friday, 9-5 EST. The trainer will ask you for the URL to your ELMS and then walk you through how to set up your ELMS, discuss the various delivery options available to you, and explain how best to get up and running as quickly as possible. |
