Terms & Conditions for online Microsoft Developer Highway Code Download Free Prize Draw

 

  1. ELIGIBILITY: This draw is open to any person resident in the UK & Ireland who is 18 years of age or older. Employees of Microsoft or its agents or partners in this promotion may not enter.
  2. TO ENTER: Visit the following website www.microsoft.com/uk/highwaycode and either download a single pdf chapter or the full pdf version of the book.  Alternatively, send your name and email address on a postcard for the attention of Mandeep Kaur to the Microsoft address below. Microsoft is not responsible for lost, corrupted or delayed entries. Only one entry per person will be accepted. No purchase necessary. Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Microsoft reserves the right to disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. TIMING: This promotion runs from 12.01:00 am GMT on 05th November 2007 until 16.01:00p.m. on 18th January 2008 (inclusive)
  4. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Winners will be determined by a random prize draw conducted by Microsoft Limited on 23rd January 2008 and will be supervised by an independent adjudicator.  Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.  The winners will be notified by email by 30th January 2008.  If a potential winner cannot be contacted, through no fault of Microsoft, within TEN (10) days after the first attempt, an alternative winner will be selected at random. The winners may be required to participate in further publicity or advertising.
  5. PRIZE: There will be 20 prizes where each winner will receive a copy of Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate (Estimated Retail Value of £369.99).  The Prizes are as stated and are not transferable.  No cash alternatives available. Microsoft reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.    All prizes will be sent by registered post by 29th February 2008.
  6. WINNERS LIST: The winners consent to their initial and surname being made publicly available.  Winners’ names will be available for a period of 3 weeks after the final draw date by emailing ukmsdn@microsoft.com.
  7. OTHER: No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this promotion or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Microsoft’s decision shall be final.  Microsoft reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this promotion at any time without notice.
