LicenseInformation.ExpirationDate | expirationDate property

Applies to Windows and Windows Phone

Gets the license expiration date and time relative to the system clock.

Syntax


var expirationDate = licenseInformation.expirationDate;

Property value

Type: Date [JavaScript] | System.DateTimeOffset [.NET] | Windows::Foundation::DateTime [C++]

The date and time that the app's trial license will expire.

ValueMeaning
a valid date value

The license is active and expires on this date.

This occurs during the app's trial period.

maxDate

The license is active and never expires.

This occurs after the customer buys the app.

minDate

The license is not active.

 

Remarks

Windows Phone 8

This API always returns 9999 – 12 – 31 (ETERNITY_FILETIME_TIME).
