#n Operator ("M" Reference)

The #n operator functions as a multiplicity operator.

Operator Description

The #n operator is predefined for all types. When the #n operator is located in the postfix position after a type, a collection of that type is created that contains exactly n members.

Code Example

The following code shows the Employees collection being created with the #n multiplicity operator. After the code executes, the Employees collection must hold exactly 4 Text types.
