Char.IsHighSurrogate Method (Char)

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Indicates whether the specified Char object is a high surrogate.

Parameters

c

A character.

Return Value

true if the numeric value of the c parameter ranges from U+D800 through U+DBFF; otherwise, false.
