Provides class handling for the MouseEnter event.
Assembly: System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)
The method allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Because Windows Phone only provides a touchscreen surface for pointer interactions, the event will not fire unless your control is tapped onscreen. Therefore and OnMouseLeftButtonDown(MouseButtonEventArgs) are functionally redundant.Notes to Inheritors
When overriding in a derived class, make sure to call the base class’s method so that registered delegates receive the event.
