XmlSerializationReader.ToDate Method

This method supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Produces a DateTime object from an input string.

Namespace: System.Xml.Serialization
Assembly: System.Xml (in system.xml.dll)

protected static DateTime ToDate (
	string value
)
protected static DateTime ToDate (
	String value
)
protected static function ToDate (
	value : String
) : DateTime

Parameters

value

A string to translate into a DateTime class object.

Return Value

A DateTimeobject.

The protected members of XmlSerializationReader are intended for use only by derived classes that are used internally within the .NET Framework XML serialization infrastructure.

The ToDate method is static.
