Note: This class is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Provides VisualStyleElement objects for the different states of the button control. This class cannot be inherited.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms.VisualStyles
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

public static class PushButton
public final class PushButton
public final class PushButton

Each property of the VisualStyleElement.Button.PushButton class returns a VisualStyleElement for a different state of the button control.

Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows Server 2003 Platform Note: Visual styles are supported only on these platforms.

The following code example demonstrates how to create a VisualStyleRenderer with the VisualStyleElement returned by the VisualStyleElement.Button.PushButton property. To run this example, paste it into a Windows Form. Handle the form’s Paint event and call the DrawVisualStyleElement_Button_PushButton1 method from the Paint event-handling method, passing e as PaintEventArgs.

public void DrawVisualStyleElement_Button_PushButton1(PaintEventArgs e)
{
    if (VisualStyleRenderer.IsElementDefined(
        VisualStyleElement.Button.PushButton.Normal))
    {
        VisualStyleRenderer renderer =
             new VisualStyleRenderer(VisualStyleElement.Button.PushButton.Normal);
        Rectangle rectangle1 = new Rectangle(10, 50, 50, 50);
        renderer.DrawBackground(e.Graphics, rectangle1);
        e.Graphics.DrawString("VisualStyleElement.Button.PushButton.Normal",
             this.Font, Brushes.Black, new Point(10, 10));
    }
    else
        e.Graphics.DrawString("This element is not defined in the current visual style.",
             this.Font, Brushes.Black, new Point(10, 10));
}
