FixedPanel Enumeration

Note: This enumeration is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Specifies that SplitContainer.Panel1, SplitContainer.Panel2, or neither panel is fixed.

Panel1Specifies that SplitContainer.Panel1 is fixed. A Control.Resize event affects only SplitContainer.Panel2
Panel2Specifies that SplitContainer.Panel2 is fixed. A Control.Resize event affects only SplitContainer.Panel1

Use a value of FixedPanel to specify which panel stays the same size and which panel increases in size when a user resizes the SplitContainer.
