SymmetricAlgorithm.Mode Property

Gets or sets the mode for operation of the symmetric algorithm.

Property Value

The mode for operation of the symmetric algorithm. The default is CipherMode.CBC.

Exceptions

Exception type	Condition
CryptographicException	The cipher mode is not one of the CipherMode values.
