MessagePropertyFilter.UseEncryption Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether to retrieve Message.UseEncryption property information when receiving or peeking a message.

public bool UseEncryption { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true to receive Message.UseEncryption information; otherwise, false. The default is false.

The UseEncryption property of the Message class specifies whether to encrypt a message.

The following code example demonstrates the use of the UseEncryption property.

// Set the queue's MessageReadPropertyFilter property to enable the 
// message's UseEncryption property.
queue.MessageReadPropertyFilter.UseEncryption = true;

// Peek at the message. Time out after ten seconds in case the message 
// was not delivered.
orderMessage = queue.Peek(TimeSpan.FromSeconds(10.0)); 

// Display the value of the message's UseEncryption property.
