[SerializableAttribute] [ComVisibleAttribute(true)] public abstract class EastAsianLunisolarCalendar : Calendar
/** @attribute SerializableAttribute() */ /** @attribute ComVisibleAttribute(true) */ public abstract class EastAsianLunisolarCalendar extends Calendar
The EastAsianLunisolarCalendar class supports lunisolar calendars where the month of the year corresponds to the season and the day of the month corresponds to the phase of moon. The year is associated with an era that repeats in a sexagenary (60-year) cycle, which consists of combinations of 10 celestial stems and 12 terrestrial branches.
A month can have a leap day and a year can have a leap month. For example, the GetMonth method returns a positive integer that indicates the month associated with a specified date. If there is a leap month between the eighth and ninth months of the year, the GetMonth method returns 8 for the eighth month, 9 for the leap eighth month, and 10 for the ninth month.
Currently, the EastAsianLunisolarCalendar is not used by any of the cultures supported by the CultureInfo class; therefore, this class can be used only to calculate dates in the East Asian lunisolar calendar.
Each CultureInfo supports a set of calendars. The Calendar property returns the default calendar for the culture, and the OptionalCalendars property returns an array containing all the calendars supported by the culture. To change the calendar used by a CultureInfo, set the Calendar property of CultureInfo.DateTimeFormat to a new Calendar.
