ToolboxItem.OnComponentsCreated Method

Raises the ComponentsCreated event.

Namespace: System.Drawing.Design
Assembly: System.Drawing (in system.drawing.dll)

protected virtual void OnComponentsCreated (
	ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs args
)
protected void OnComponentsCreated (
	ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs args
)
protected function OnComponentsCreated (
	args : ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs
)
Not applicable.

Parameters

args

A ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs that provides data for the event.

The OnComponentsCreated method raises the ComponentsCreated event. This method is called after a toolbox item is invoked to create components and the CreateComponentsCore method has returned.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnComponentsCreated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnComponentsCreated in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnComponentsCreated method so that registered delegates receive the event.
