ApplicationDeployment.CheckForUpdateProgressChanged Event

Note: This event is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Occurs when a progress update is available on a CheckForUpdateAsync call.

JScript supports the use of events, but not the declaration of new ones.

CheckForUpdateProgressChanged reports on the download status of the application's deployment manifest. This can be important information for users running over slow network connections.

The following example uses the CheckForUpdateProgressChanged event to inform the user how much of the deployment manifest is left to download. The example requires that you are deploying a Windows Forms application, and that this application contains a StatusStrip control that itself contains a ToolStripStatusPanel control name downloadStatus.
