OracleParameter.SourceVersion Property

Gets or sets the DataRowVersion to use when you load Value

Namespace: System.Data.OracleClient
Assembly: System.Data.OracleClient (in system.data.oracleclient.dll)

public override DataRowVersion SourceVersion { get; set;
/** @property */
public DataRowVersion get_SourceVersion ()

/** @property */
public void set_SourceVersion (DataRowVersion value)

public override function get SourceVersion () : DataRowVersion

public override function set SourceVersion (value : DataRowVersion)

Property Value

One of the DataRowVersion values. The default is Current.

This property is used by the UpdateCommand during the Update to determine whether the original or current value is used for a parameter value. This lets primary keys be updated. This property is set to the version of the DataRow used by the Item property(DataRow indexer), or the GetChildRows method of the DataRow object.

The following example creates a OracleParameter and sets some of its properties.

public void CreateOracleParameter()
{
   OracleParameter parameter = new OracleParameter("pDName", OracleType.VarChar);
   parameter.IsNullable = true;
   parameter.SourceColumn = "Description";
   parameter.SourceVersion = DataRowVersion.Current;
   parameter.Direction = ParameterDirection.Output;
