SectionInformation.IsProtected Property

Gets a value indicating whether the associated configuration section is protected.

Property Value

true if this ConfigurationSection is protected; otherwise, false. The default is false.

Protected configuration sections are both encrypted and read-only.

The following code examples show how to get the IsProtected property value after accessing the related section information in the configuration file.

Get the SectionInformation.
