An error occurred creating the Show Differences window.

SQL Server 2005

When you check out a stored procedure that is under source control and there are differences between the database version and the Visual SourceSafe version, a dialog box is displayed indicating that there are differences. When you attempt to view those differences, occasionally an error prevents display of the Show Differences window. This error is usually caused by an improper installation of Visual SourceSafe.

  1. Check your installation of Visual SourceSafe and reinstall if necessary.
