Manager Class

Provides information about the environment, and enumerates and retrieves device capabilities.

Namespace:  Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Direct3D
Assembly:  Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX (in Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.dll)

public sealed class Manager

In managed code, the Manager class replaces most of the functionality of the C++ IDirect3DMobile interface, except that it does not create a device. For device creation and manipulation options, see Device. You cannot create an instance of this class or inherit from it.

The following code examples demonstrates obtaining information from the Manager class.

// check support for a Format.A16B16R16F render target
if (!Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Direct3D.Manager.CheckDeviceFormat(0, DeviceType.Default, Format.A1R5G5B5,
                                  Usage.RenderTarget, ResourceType.BackBuffer,
                                  Format.A1R5G5B5))
    MessageBox.Show("Supported");

System.Object
  Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Direct3D.Manager
